Scandinavia is an important motorcycle market. The beautiful landscape and winding roads create the perfect opportunity to ride a bike and feel the freedom of it. The tough charisma of the Saxon bikes can only increase the pleasure. The Saxon models, Warlord, Firestorm and Henchman are factory build motorcycles that are custom build for the consumer, with an extreme, stylish image. At the same time, these bikes drive very comfortably.

Saxon Motorcycles Europe has obtained the European Type Approval in February 2007 for the models Firestorm and Warlord. The approval for the new model, the Henchman, is planned in November 2008.

The motorcycles are approved in conformity with the strict European standards on safety, emission and sound. Therefore all bikes of Saxon Motorcycles Europe are “road legal” and can be put on license by the dealers in every country of the European Union (EU).

Las Vegas, NV – October 23, 2008 — Red Rock Harley-Davidson is celebrating the unveiling of its brand new 104,000 square-foot Las Vegas store with a three-day party from November 7th through 9th. The “Rock-Hard, Ride Harder” event is open to the public, featuring Hawaiian Tropic girls, food, drinks, music, demos, on-site financing, the new line of 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and the Hoyt Corkins Celebrity Poker Tournament (CPT).

Play with the pros in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 8th, starting at 3 p.m. and compete for the grand prize of a 2008 105th Anniversary Edition Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a WORLD model Curtis & Co. watch, a lead crystal trophy designed by Legacy Alliance, Inc, and Harley-Davidson merchandise. Proceeds will benefit the Nevada Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Celebrity tournament director Matt Savage will emcee the special event featuring guest appearances by Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Tiffany Michelle, Cyndy Violette, Todd Brunson, Pam Brunson, Brad “Yukon” Booth, Chip & Karina Jett, Mark Newhouse, Brandon Cantu, Jeff Madsen, Lee Watkinson, James VanAlstyne, and 2008 World Series of Poker ESPN final table players David “Chino” Rheem and chip leader Dennis Phillips.

Anyone may participate in the November 8th tournament being held at the new Red Rock Harley-Davidson store located at 2260 S. Rainbow, Las Vegas, Nevada 89117. The cost to play in the tournament is $500, and New Poker, “The most strategic hold’em in the world,” will host one-table $60 qualifying tournaments on Friday, November 7th, at the Red Rock Harley-Davidson store for entry into Saturday’s Hoyt Corkins CPT. On-site registration starts at noon on Friday, November 7th. Players will enjoy complimentary drinks from the world famous Hogs & Heifers Saloon. WPT Boot Camp will conduct free poker seminars throughout the day starting at 2:30 p.m. on the day of the event for those who want to improve their game or just learn how to play. New Poker will also host side poker games on the day of the poker tournament.

Saturday’s activities will include a prize raffle, B&B’s cigar lounge, Triumph Sport’s silent auction, and free samples of Who’s Your Daddy Energy Drink. Poker personality Robert Williamson, III will emcee a live auction featuring autographed poker memorabilia. All proceeds will benefit the JDRF.

So unless you are a hardy biker then biking days are drawing to a close, as the days get colder and the roads become a little bit more dangerous with the possibility of ice and at present wet with falling leaves.

So are you all putting your bike away for the winter or are you going to ride all the way through. It was a lovely day this morning though, despite the cold, so I have come to work on mine and it was a lovely ride. Of course, with the internet, this blog is not limited to the UK or to the cold parts of the globe, so those of you in sunnier climbs might be laughing at the though of putting your bike away.

So those of you in the likes of Florida or California maybe might want ot cheer our spirits and tell us of the lovely sunny weather over there and maybe we could visit for a ride. It would be good to hire a Harley to cross the US and maybe go across Route 66 one day!

Anyway I hoep everyone enjoys the last few sunny days of riding, here in the UK and in the other parts of the World that suffers from a winter and be safe.
